Using MSP 16

I normally edit a video, then when I'm happy with it apply a Levels adjust   (Computer to Studio)  and maybe some white balance & contrast.
I am now receiving dumps of drone footage and to use been advised, the footage is D-Log10 and I need to apply a LUT and then colour grades, his comment was it's just an easy application much like a filter - he uses Davinci.

It seems I need to apply a LUT to convert the gamma curve from D-Log to Rec.709 to give me standard HD video,. so how do I do this ?

I typically have MP4 video from my camera and not D-Log 10, however as I'm likely to be getting hold of lots of his 'as shot' video, how do I treat this in MSP
Been advise that the flat DLog-10 has to be colour profile changed to  Rec.709 (BT.709 or ITU-R BT.709)

I'm pretty certain you do not have LUT in VMSP16.  I cannot find them in VMSP17 but they are there in Vegas Pro.  You need to update to Vegas Pro 22 if you wish to use them to assist with colour grading.

OK .. that is a pity, and no way to achieve this with a filter(s) ?   REC709 is an RGB set and a gamma curve,

I like MSP, and if it can't do this a Vegas pro license is £199, as I'm retired now I can't justify that.
I'll move to the Free version of Davinci Resolve, it handles LUT's for free.

A pity as have been user of Movie Studio since ver 7  and have reasonable experience with the UI

Plan B.
SRGB is almost the same as Rec.709 just more suited to monitors & room conditions.
can I apply a filter or similar to convert D-Log to sRGB
